💎 5 Tweet Tuesday 💎
My favorite 5 tweets of the week. Let’s dive in:
#1 💎
Call your mom today. Let her yap for 15 min without getting a word in.
A finite number of these left. And someday you'll wish you had just one more.
What Sundays are for.

OK, I’m calling my mom right after I send this and letting her yap for 15 mins.

I love phones, I love the internet, but damn this is true. The present moment has turned into an anticipated memory (or worse, an anticipated brag)
I think the new status symbol isn’t carrying a fancy bag, it’s leaving the house without a phone.

The more startups I meet, the more I wish I were an investor in OpenAI or Anthropic.

So true. Feels like everyone else is playing for a distant second.
Btw - instead of buying the S&P 500, I own what I call the “AI Eleven”.
Microsoft - owns 27% of OpenAI, plus… uh… Microsoft
Meta - AI makes their ads way better, the algorithm more addictive, and they're in first place with glasses and VR
Tesla - This stock is completely polarizing. Either it’s the most overvalued stock in the world (many would say this). Or you’re giving your money to the greatest entrepreneur of all time who’s got the best chance of making self-driving cars and robots that replace human labor (2 of the largest products ever). My Tesla literally drives me everywhere by itself. It feels like magic, and so I’m a believer.
OpenAI – this generation's Google/Facebook. Already 1 billion users. Replaced Google Search for me in 85% of cases, which is stunning and seemed impossible 3 years ago
Google – owns YouTube (~$400-$500B company), Google Search, Google Cloud, Android, Waymo and more
Amazon – shopping (is a monopoly), delivery is impossible for anyone to match, they own ~15% of Anthropic, and AWS is a toll booth for the internet that brings in $100B per year
SpaceX – one of the most defensible businesses in the world, and defensibility drives value. Plus, Starlink itself is projected to do $11B in revenue.
Bitcoin - because I’d rather save in a currency that doesn’t devalue by 3-10% a year
Ethereum - because Vitalik looks like what the next Zuckerberg would look like (sophisticated analysis, this is why you pay me the big bucks for this newsletter)
Robinhood - because $50 trillion+ is being passed down to Gen-Z/Millenials and they think Charles Schwab sounds like a man with gingivitis. Robinhood is a casino disguised as an investing app. I don’t think it’s good for society, but it’s very good for making money.
Replit - this is the long shot. I invested in this when they were doing $2M in revenue. A year later they’re doing ~$250M+. Which is what Gwen Stefani calls B-A-N-A-N-A-S. This space is crazy competitive, but I love Replit and the founder Amjad.
Hm, sorry I just realized you didn’t ask for a 5,000 word portfolio break down. Back to the tweets!

Uber sends notifications like "hey want to take an Uber right now?" No thanks, buddy. It's more for when I need to go somewhere

Reminder that “tapping” your credit card is spiritually passive/feminine, and that men should pay via confident and penetrative thrust into the chip reader

#6 💎 Brought To You By Mercury
Everyone’s got startup opinions.
Twitter says VCs are dead. Reddit says AI is killing jobs.
Mercury actually looked at the data.
They surveyed 1,500 startup founders to see what’s actually happening in 2025:
79% of AI adopters are hiring more (not less)
79% of early-stage businesses are increasing spend
87% of founders feel more confident about their business’s financial future vs. 2024
