Good v. Great Founders and Jamby's Underwear

Welcome back to 5 Tweet Tuesday.

I spend all week scrolling Twitter, so you don't have to... and here are my favorite 5 tweets of the week 💎

This is the number one thing I’ve noticed separates “good” vs. “great” founders.

Good founders are stuck, limited by what they already know.

Great founders have an unshakeable confidence that they can figure anything out.

My friend Moiz Ali is the perfect story here.

He told someone he was thinking about starting a deodorant company. They laughed, and asked him, “moiz do you even know anything about deodorant?”

He replied, “no, but in 6 months, I’ll know everything there is to know about deodorant”.

He built the company, Native Deodorant and sold it for $100M just 3 years later.

This is a good career path:

  • First you earn with your time (labor)

  • Then with your mind (strategy)

  • Then with your taste (investing, hiring, etc.)

I’m only sharing this tweet because she mentioned my podcast as the ‘basic’/’cliche’ thing to listen to. That’s when you know you’ve made it.

#3.5 💎 Sponsor S/O: Monthly 1k

Want a step-by-step guide to launching your own business in under a month?

Monthly 1K is Noah Kagan’s course that teaches you actionable techniques to take you from ideation to successful business.

Right now it’s just $600 $1 for AppSumo’s crazy Black Friday specials (check it out here).

Mine: Jamby's Lounge Wear. They aren’t sponsoring me. I just love them and wear it everyday.

Boxers with pockets..hot damn! that’s what I call innovation!
