This strategy is undefeated.

5 weeks ago, someone buried a 22 lb chest with $10,000 of prizes (half in gold), somewhere in San Francisco.
No one has found it yet.
This is the only clue.

Update - it was found 11 hours later.
Bonus update: I put the clue into ChatGPT and it basically figured it out. (go to Camera Obscura in SF, and use UV lights to find a hidden path to the treasure)
I’m OK with AI taking our jobs, but leave our treasure hunts alone.

Lots of alpha in knowing how to ask for advice
1. Ask only credible people (Ray Dalio: "have done the thing successfully, multiple times, and can articulate how")
2. Consider their incentives (don't ask a barber whether you need a haircut)
3. Ask for frameworks, not answers

This is good advice, about getting good advice.
One I would add: “don’t ask for answers, ask them to ask you questions”
Wise people know what questions matter (and which don’t), and this shows you how to think about the situation.

% of their job they do:
A player: 150%-175%
B player: 80%-85%
C player: 10%— Jason ✨👾SaaStr.Ai✨ Lemkin (@jasonlk)

The best part about firing someone is when you hesitate because you’re worried about the impact of losing them - only to realize they were only doing 10% of the job in the first place.
Addition by subtraction.

Let me tell you about one of my favorite quotes:
“Never write an advertisement which you wouldn't want your own family to read. The consumer isn’t a moron, she’s your wife. You wouldn't tell lies to your own wife. Don't tell them to mine.”
To me, you’re family. So I wouldn’t lie to you either.
And when it comes to my banking** services, I use Mercury.
I use it for my personal account. My business accounts. Everything. In total, I have 6+ accounts with them.
That’s why I’m confident in recommending it, because I know it works and I know what it does.
Want in? Head to mercury.com and apply.
**Mercury is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services provided by Choice Financial Group, Column N.A., and Evolve Bank & Trust®; Members FDIC.
