How big is AI? Dharmesh is the CTO of a $30B company and he’s tweeting out excitement for the new openAI announcements… reminds me of Apple events when Steve Jobs (RIP) was running the show.
Btw what they announced: a bunch of random things (desktop app, etc.), and a huge speed/cost improvement. Reducing latency isn’t as sexy “watch this magic AI demo!” but it’s a huge unlock.
Speed is a killer feature.

How The Sphere makes money. The $2.3B venue reported $170M in revenue in Q3:
- The Postcard From Earth show is the cash cow, with $1+ million in tickets sold per day ($101M)

Strip clubs aren’t the only thing taking tech nerds’ money in Vegas now!
I need someone to make a documentary about the making of the Sphere. This thing seems incredible. Technically, financially, experientially. It’s amazing something like this went from idea to reality.

There's a golden generation right now that can use AI to cheat on everything, before the school system adapts to AI. It's like the Sammy Sosa/McGwire steroids era of education right now.
