So here’s my attempt at answering the question: “what game am i playing?” 

Good games I’m playing: 

1. The get in the best shape of my life game (fitness) 

2. The find a new project that fits in my zone of genius game (work) 

3. The get paid a kings ransom, doing work I’d do for free game (work)

4. The have fun with your kids, they’re only little once game. Raising them & playing with them & not being annoyed/getting fatigued parenting them. 

Stupid games I’m playing (play stupid games, win stupid prizes)

1. Trying to impress people who I think are cool, successful etc

One thing I love about YouTube (and the internet in general) is that people publish all their attempts and you can re-trace them (just go to their YouTube channel and click ‘oldest’).

I did this for companies too once, digging up all the original landing pages for companies that went on to be huge hits (spoiler, v1 is always embarrassing)

If company culture matters so much, why don’t companies give bonuses to the funny people who are holding the entire ship together off sheer vibes?

Makes me wonder - if charisma is a skill, what’s the best way to practice/learn it? (whoops, that’s probably the least charismatic sentence ever)
