Out of 500M daily tweets, only 5 deserve your attention.
Here’s this week’s starting lineup:

'4000 weeks' is by far the most insane framing for how short life is.

Let's start with some quick math-based-depression.
I’ve already used 36 * 52 = 1,872 of my 4000 weeks!

This is the best-selling baby formula in America.
What the hell are we doing to our kids.

I just took the screenshot of these ingredients and asked ChatGPT:
Shaan: “Look at this screenshot - what product do you think this is?”
ChatGPT: “[...] a protein shake or meal replacement, possibly baby formula”
Shaan: “Is this healthy? Would you, a caring mother, feed this to your baby?”
ChatGPT: “This formula appears designed to mimic breast milk, and while nutritionally complete it contains ingredients I would be wary of: Corn Syrup, Sugar, & Soy/HighlyProcessed Oils.”
ChatGPT: “Would I feed this to my baby as a caring mother? While this meets the regulatory guidelines, I would look for an organic option that avoids corn syrup, sugar, and emphasizes natural ingredients.”
Crazy that the richest country in the world is basically poisoning it’s own population with processed foods.

Your brain will invent fake problems for you if you don't go out and find real ones

This is why you see:
Rich/beautiful women in Hollywood injecting botox in their face (wrinkles are their biggest problem).
Founders feel depressed after selling their company (no mountain to climb, and we’re happiest when climbing mountains).
Your brain will find a problem to focus on. Choose your problems wisely.

Was inevitable

I haven’t checked this out, but I’m intrigued. A school where:
Morning block - 2 hours to study with an AI tutor
Afternoon - passion projects/play that builds skills + interact with other kids
Teachers are there for hands on support (i.e. motivational, emotional support)
I like this direction. I don’t think people realize how lucky we are that, suddenly, every kid has their own personal AI tutor at the click of a button.

Evan Williams has one of my favorite all-time quotes when it comes to building businesses:
“Take a human desire, preferably one that has been around for a really long time… identify that desire and use modern technology to take out steps.”
That’s exactly what Mercury does. It takes one of the most basic human needs - managing money - and removes all the friction that’s been part of it for decades.
No more clunky interfaces. No more running to the bank for simple tasks. No more wasting time juggling a million tabs just to see the financial health of your company.
Mercury simplifies business banking** by cutting out the unnecessary steps, so you can get back to running your business.
That’s why Mercury’s so great. And it’s already being used by 200,000 ambitious founders.
