šŸ’Ž  5 Tweet Tuesday šŸ’Ž

My favorite 5 tweets of the week (better late than never!)

Let’s dive in:

#1 šŸ’Ž

My friend Chris Williamson has a great phrase that explains why people seem to be upset even after they achieve success: ā€œyou can’t fill an internal hole with external successā€

#2 šŸ’Ž

I’ve fallen in love, had kids, made millions of dollars – and the Solitaire victory bounce is still top tier.

#3 šŸ’Ž

I recently went to a pool, and overheard a grandmother saying she didn’t want to swim because she felt self conscious about her legs. She’s 74 years old. She lost a chance to swim, because she was worried about what others might think.

I can guarantee, I’ve never judged any grandmother’s legs. Not at the pool, not ever!

#4 šŸ’Ž

ā€œYou’re depressed because you're not being insane enough. Double. Down. The world does not reward half ass….

ā€œYou’ve accepted your current reality as the only reality. Bullshit.ā€

#6 šŸ’Ž Brought To You By Mercury

Here’s a dumb little dance I used to do at least once a week…

  • I look at our company finances

  • I want to know ā€œhow much cash do we actually have right now?ā€

  • I open the dashboard, click the (wrong) tab, click another tab, export a spreadsheet, squint at the spreadsheet, give up, then ask someone on Slack

(if you know, you know)

Now I just use Command. It’s a chat built right into my Mercury account — you tell it what you want, and it does it.

ā€œMove $500 to savings every payday.ā€ Done.

ā€œHow much runway do I have?ā€ Boom, real number.

ā€œCategorize these transactions and add the GL codes.ā€ Easy.

It’s like being able to text with your bank. And because it lives inside Mercury, every answer comes from your live data, and it only does what your permissions already allow.

Visit mercury.com/command to learn more and apply online in minutes.
