💎  5 Tweet Tuesday 💎

My favorite 5 tweets of the week. Let’s dive in:

I met a guy a few years ago that I thought, frankly, was a bit of an idiot.

He pitched me his business. The idea sucked. His plan sucked. Even the name of the business sucked.

But we did note that the guy had a pretty high action bias. He would launch quickly, show up at customer events, hang out with smart people, and generally never got discouraged or second guessed himself.

Within 2 years, everything about the idea had changed (except the name, still shitty) and the guy was making millions a year in profit. Just being in motion helped him bounce and reshape his approach until he had a winning formula.

This idea is great. An idiot in motion goes further than a genius at rest.

A great reframe.

Related: I was at the pool the other day, and saw my body in the mirror. At first, I was a little self conscious. Got a dad bod situation going.

But then I thought to myself - “Man, how messed up is that. I feel bad about a fully functioning body?”

The body is a miracle man. Just today, my bone marrow was like a gigafactory of productivity. Just today, my bone marrow produced 500,000,000,000 blood cells. It made 200 BILLION red cells for carrying oxygen around the body. ~100B white blood cells to fight bacteria and viruses.

And that’s just the bone marrow, not the heart, lungs, or kidneys. It’s a C-list actor in the body, and yet it replaced billions of aging cells and kept me alive, without me even having to think about it.

All from the tiny sponge inside my bones.

In this study of 100 years of the stock market, 46 companies out of 30,000 accounted for half of all the gains.

This is another reason why low cost indexing is the best approach for most people.

Reminds me of one of my favorite youtube videos. Young Bernie Mac doing his first standup comedy set at the Apollo:  “I ain’t scared of you mothafuckas!”

#6 💎 Brought To You By Mercury

It’s 2026 and I can run my whole life from my phone - I can order a couch, a car, or a coconut from Sri Lanka in two taps.

But visit your local bank and you’ll see they’re still stuck in the 60’s (the little pens are still chained to the desks too!)

That’s probably why over 300,000 entrepreneurs have switched over to using Mercury.

Mercury is banking that finally works. You can send wires, pay bills, issue invoices, manage cards — all in one place. No phone calls, no "please visit your nearest branch." And if you've got a team, you can give your bookkeeper access without handing them the launch codes.

It’s free to start and there’s no minimum balance. Visit Mercury.com to learn more and apply online in minutes.

**Mercury is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services provided by Choice Financial Group, Column N.A., and Evolve Bank & Trust®; Members FDIC.
